Section 1

Services Provided

1.1 Scope of Services

Meduvita provides online UCAT and medical school application preparation services, including:

  • Live small-group teaching sessions (maximum 15 students per cohort)
  • Recorded session library available for the duration of your enrolled plan
  • The Meduvita AI Q-Bank: an adaptive question bank with AI-powered explanations
  • Personal statement and portfolio feedback sessions
  • MMI interview preparation and mock circuits
  • Study materials, worksheets, and written resources
1.2 Educational Services Only

Meduvita provides educational preparation services only. We are not a medical institution, examination body, or university admissions service. Nothing in our services constitutes medical advice, legal advice, or any guarantee of academic or professional outcome.

1.3 Service Availability

Live session schedules are published in advance. Meduvita reserves the right to reschedule sessions with reasonable prior notice. Recorded materials remain accessible for the duration of your enrolled plan. The Meduvita AI Q-Bank is available 24/7 during your enrolment period, subject to reasonable maintenance windows.

Section 2

No Guarantees — Critical Disclaimer

Meduvita makes NO guarantees of UCAT scores, medical school admission, university offers, or any specific academic or professional outcome. Score targets mentioned in our materials (e.g. 2300+) are aspirational goals based on tutor and student experience — they are not promises, warranties, or representations of likely results.

Your results depend entirely on your own effort, baseline ability, consistency of practice, test-day execution, and individual university admission criteria — all of which are outside Meduvita's control.

Meduvita shall not be held liable for any exam score, university rejection, or any loss arising from the outcome of your application, examination, or any decision made in reliance on our services.

Section 3

Intellectual Property & Content Protection

3.1 Ownership

All content provided by Meduvita — including session recordings, slides, study materials, worksheets, AI Q-Bank content, and written resources — is the sole intellectual property of Meduvita and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India). All rights reserved.

3.2 Prohibited Actions

You must not, under any circumstances:

  • Record, screenshot, or download any Meduvita session or material without prior written permission
  • Share your login credentials or account access with any other person
  • Distribute, reproduce, or publish any Meduvita content on any platform or medium
  • Use Meduvita materials for commercial purposes or to create a competing service
  • Share materials with any third party, including friends, family, or coaching centres
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying content of the AI Q-Bank
3.3 Consequences of Violation

Any violation of Section 3.2 will result in immediate account termination without refund. Meduvita reserves the right to pursue legal action for copyright infringement under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India).

Section 4

Payments & Refund Policy

4.1 Payment Terms

All fees are payable in full prior to or at the time of enrolment confirmation. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the point of sale. All prices are quoted in GBP (British Pounds Sterling) unless otherwise stated, and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

4.2 Refund Policy

Given the nature of digital educational services, the following refund policy applies:

  • No refund is available once platform access has been granted or live session attendance has begun
  • If Meduvita cancels a cohort before it commences, a full refund will be issued within 14 working days
  • If Meduvita terminates your access due to a breach of these Terms, no refund will be provided
  • Partial refunds for partially consumed services are not available unless expressly required by applicable Indian consumer law
4.3 Consumer Rights

Nothing in this refund policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Where a conflict exists between this policy and applicable statutory consumer rights, your statutory rights prevail.

Section 5

Attendance, Sessions & Scheduling

5.1 Your Responsibility

Attendance at live sessions is your responsibility. Meduvita is not liable for sessions missed due to your personal circumstances, technical issues on your end, or scheduling conflicts.

5.2 Missed Sessions

All live sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled students. If you miss a live session, you will have access to the full recording. No live repetition of sessions will be provided for personal absences. Meduvita may, at its sole discretion and subject to availability, accommodate attendance in a later equivalent session — this is not guaranteed.

5.3 Late Enrolment

Students who enrol after a cohort has commenced will receive recordings of all sessions that took place prior to their enrolment date. Meduvita is not obligated to provide live delivery of content covered before enrolment.

5.4 Schedule Changes

Meduvita may modify session schedules with at least 48 hours' advance notice. In cases of significant disruption caused by Meduvita, affected students may request a pro-rata credit at Meduvita's sole discretion.

Section 6

6.1 Data We Collect

Full details of how we handle your data are set out in our Privacy Policy.

6.2 Marketing Consent — Opt-In Only

Meduvita will not use your personal data, image, voice, or testimonials for marketing purposes without your separate, explicit written consent. Consent will be requested at the time of enrolment. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing meduvita17@gmail.com — withdrawal will be processed within 7 days.

6.3 Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with India's Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Data will not be sold or transferred to third parties except where required to deliver the service (e.g. payment processing).

6.4 Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting meduvita17@gmail.com. Requests will be processed within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations. Aggregate anonymised data may be retained for analytical purposes.

Section 7

Student Obligations & Conduct

7.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol independently. Students under 18 must have enrolment completed by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the student's behalf and takes full responsibility for compliance.

7.2 Conduct

You agree to:

  • Use Meduvita services lawfully, honestly, and in good faith at all times
  • Treat tutors and fellow students with respect during all live sessions
  • Report any technical issues within 48 hours of occurrence
  • Not engage in disruptive, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour
  • Not impersonate any other person or misrepresent your identity

Meduvita reserves the right to remove any student from a session or terminate their enrolment for conduct that disrupts the learning environment, without refund.

Section 8

Limitation of Liability

8.1 Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Meduvita's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by you to Meduvita for the relevant service in question.

8.2 Excluded Losses

Meduvita shall not be liable under any circumstances for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental loss of any kind
  • Loss of exam scores, university admission opportunities, or future earnings
  • Emotional distress, reputational damage, or loss of opportunity
  • Loss resulting from events beyond Meduvita's reasonable control (force majeure), including internet outages, platform failures, tutor illness, or natural disasters
8.3 Statutory Rights Preserved

Nothing in this Section limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by Meduvita's negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Indian law.

Section 9

Termination & Suspension

9.1 Termination by Meduvita

Meduvita may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without refund if you breach any provision of these Terms, engage in misconduct, or infringe intellectual property rights. Meduvita may also terminate with 14 days' notice for any other reason, in which case a pro-rata refund for unused services will be issued.

9.2 Termination by You

You may cancel your enrolment at any time by contacting meduvita17@gmail.com. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in Section 4. Your payment obligations for the enrolled programme remain in full unless a refund is expressly granted by Meduvita.

Section 10

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any reference to applicable law includes amendments and successor legislation.

10.2 Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India. The parties agree to first attempt good-faith resolution through direct written communication before initiating any formal proceedings.

10.3 Mediation

Where disputes cannot be resolved directly within 30 days of written notice, both parties agree to attempt mediation under the Mediation Act, 2023 (India) before resorting to litigation. Costs of mediation shall be shared equally unless a court orders otherwise.

Section 11

General Provisions

11.1 Amendments

Meduvita may update these Terms from time to time. Students will be notified of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Meduvita services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11.3 Electronic Communications

Communications sent by email to meduvita17@gmail.com or through the enrolment form constitute valid and legally binding electronic communications under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India).

11.5 No Waiver

Failure by Meduvita to enforce any provision of these Terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of Meduvita's right to enforce that provision in the future.
